I’m a trans human residing in middle America. A lifelong Mac user, I turned to Windows for Fallout mods about 10 years back and have been begrudgingly using Windows for gaming ever since. Recently, I decided to attempt to shed that, so here we are. I’ve been using NixOS for gaming since March 2024. It’s been going pretty okay.

I do intend to contribute to this Wiki. I’m fairly new to using Linux, other than the occasional old laptop or netbook for which I’d exclusively use some Debian variant or another. I did have very limited experience using command line in Mac, which has helped a tiny bit. Some time ago I started using ARMbian more regularly as a headless server and more recently had been considering making my gaming PC Linux. About a month ago I did just that, choosing Nix OS because it seemed neat and have been tinkering with it as I went ever since.
